Splashtop 2 is not equivalent to duet though, isn't it a remote desktop? Meaning you're accessing your computer through the iPad. Duet, air display, and splashtop xdisplay are using the iPad as a second monitor for the computer. Anyway, duet with harrison mixbus wasn't as touch friendly as I'd hoped, but I only had a minute to try it. 2. Download latest Splashtop Streamer for your computer at http://www.splashtop.com/downloads
(MAC users, install the virtual driver on Splashtop Streamer under [Settings] -> [Install virtual display driver])
3. Choose your computer from the Splashtop Extended Wireless Display 2's computer list and you are good to go
REQUIREMENTS
To receive connections using Splashtop Extended Wireless Display 2, your computer needs to have:
* OS: Windows 7, 8; or MAC OS X 10.8, 10.9
* Memory: 2 GB of RAM
* Processor: 1.6 GHz or faster dual-core CPU
Both your computer (Mac or Windows) and iPad must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
LIMITATIONS
* Currently only supports computers with at least one unused video display output
* When Windows Aero is disabled, certain functions might not be available
